Andrea Grant
Chief Operating Officer | CHC
Andrea serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at CHC: Creating Healthier Communities, where she leads HR, IT, Project Management, Facilities, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Operations. She ensures the organization runs efficiently by managing daily operations and implementing strategic plans in alignment with the CEO’s vision.
Andrea began her career at Plateau Systems (now SuccessFactors), where she established the company’s HR, Sales, Marketing, and Professional Services departments. She later held progressive leadership roles at LHH, including SVP, and at Challenger Gray & Christmas, where she led the organization’s DEIB strategy, helping foster a culture of authenticity and belonging.
In addition to her corporate success, Andrea has launched and built a six-figure event management company, two trucking businesses, and a career development consultancy. She is a special needs parent and former caregiver to her disabled veteran father, and brings her passion for service to both her personal and professional life.
Andrea has donated her time and expertise to organizations including Adecco’s National CSR Council, LHH’s Global Diversity Council, and the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce. She currently coaches for Diversity Woman Media and is a founding member of Capital One’s Magellan Program, a leadership initiative for African American professionals.
Her board service includes the Greater Baltimore Chapter of NAAAHR, Maryland State SHRM, Fredericksburg Regional SHRM, and the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Workforce NOW committee, where she supports workforce readiness and development initiatives.
